Hello, I'm Ellie.
Thanks for stopping by! I'm a creative working in Tokyo, Japan as an overseas market researcher, but I'm more than just a researcher.
I’m also an art director, an illustrator, and an interpreter.
I speak English, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese, but I can interpret more than just languages.
I know that in Germany, when the schedule stated that the bus is leaving at 11:00, it won’t leave at 11:01, even though the driver saw you running across from the street. In the US, you will never get a coffee with the guy that you just talked with and said, “Let’s grab a coffee next time!” because that means “goodbye” but in a social good way. In Italy, there are two kinds of red lights: one that you can cross, and the other one that you really should stop.
I also translate words to visuals, because I believe a great picture can help express the feelings that are beyond words.
Take a look at my work, and you will see different sides of me beyond these paragraphs that I just wrote :)
